How can I close my Coinmetro account?

Before submitting a request to close your account, it is very important to ensure there are no fiat or crypto balances in your account. Please ensure that you have withdrawn all assets/currencies from your account.

How to Close Your Account

You can easily submit a request to close your Coinmetro account from your Account Settings.

On Desktop or Browser On the Mobile App

  1. Click on your user avatar on the left sidebar menu on your Dashboard.

  2. Click on the "Security" tab.
  3. Scroll down and find "Close Account"
  4. Click on "Close My Account" to submit your account closure request.

  1. From the home screen, tap on your user avatar in the top left-hand corner.

  2. Tap on "Security".
  3. Scroll down and find "Delete Account".

  4. Tap on it to close your Coinmetro account.

Don't worry if you still have shares or equities in your Coinmetro account - this is simply mirrored from the Ignium platform. You will still have ownership of these shares or equities despite your Coinmetro account being closed.
