If you have a personal Coinmetro account, you can deposit USD using the SWIFT (international wire) method via our new banking partner Fiat Republic.
How to Deposit USD via SWIFT

1. To get started, head over to your Coinmetro Dashboard and select the Add Cash option. 2. Select the USD SWIFT currency option |

3. You will now be asked to give your consent so that your Fiat Republic account can be created. You'll be asked to consent to us sharing your information with Fiat Republic, which will be your name, date of birth and residential address. This information is required in order for us to complete your payment.
Simply click on Continue to acknowledge that you are happy for us to do this. You might be asked to enter your address if you haven't already done so. Please don't worry- this is a standard part of the KYC process.
4. Once we have the required address information, your Fiat Republic account will be created and will be processed. You'll see the following message while your submission is under review:
Please note that in some cases, it may take a few business days for the account to be opened. Once the account has been opened successfully, you will receive an email informing you of it.
5. Once your Fiat Republic account has been opened successfully, you can now use the USD SWIFT deposit option. Simply follow steps 1-2 again and this will bring you to the USD SWIFT deposit screen.
6. Connect your bank by entering your banking information, then tap on Continue.
7. You will then see our USD SWIFT deposit details on the screen. Head over to your banking app and send the funds to the details shown, and tap on "I've sent my funds" once the payment has been initiated. Ensure that funds are sent to these details only as they are unique for each Coinmetro user.
That's it! Once the payment has been completed, the funds will arrive in your Coinmetro account within 3 business days (although in some cases it can take up to 5 business days for the funds to arrive with us.
Important to Know
Please note that some countries are not supported for USD SWIFT payments via Fiat Republic. If your country isn't supported, this means you'll need to deposit using another deposit method and you'll see the following message:
Depositing USD by Credit or Debit Card
As long as your credit or debit card is registered in the European Economic Area (excluding NL and UKR), you can deposit USD into your Coinmetro account from outside of the US by making a card deposit. Learn more

2. Select the USD currency option by clicking here:
3. Enter the amount you want to deposit.
4. Make sure the Credit Card method has been selected by clicking on "Change", and then selecting the Credit Card method.
5. Click on "Add Cash" and you will then be redirected by our payment processor to complete the payment. Please note that pre-paid or virtual cards are not accepted.
For additional security purposes, you may be required to enter a One-Time Password (OTP) provided by your bank to verify the transaction. Learn more
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How long does it take?
SWIFT
It can take up to a maximum of 5 business days for your funds to reach us once they've been sent. Banking cut-off times, weekends, and holidays can affect how long it takes for funds to reach us from your bank.
Credit or Debit Card
USD Credit or Debit Card deposits are usually instant but may take a few minutes to appear on your Coinmetro account.
Once your deposit has arrived with us, you'll receive an email informing you of this. Should you still experience some issues after five business days have passed, please let us know and we will be more than happy to investigate this further for you.
Can I deposit from a third party?
No, we do not accept deposits from third parties. Any deposits made in a name other than your own will be returned and will incur a 20 EUR refund fee.
What are the fees?
SWIFT
There's no fee to deposit USD via the SWIFT method.
Credit or Debit Card
Levels 0-2: 2.99% of the deposit amount.
Levels 3-8: 1.99% of the deposit amount.
