What is IP Verification?

IP Verification is a security tool that we offer to provide you with improved security over your account. With IP Verification enabled, we ask you to review and authorize every new IP address that accesses your account on the platform via email.

 

How to Enable IP Verification

On Desktop or Browser On the Mobile App

  1. Click on your user avatar on the left sidebar menu on your Dashboard.

  2. Click on the "Security" tab.
  3. Scroll down and find "IP Verification"

  4. Click on the toggle to turn on IP Verification.

  2. Tap on "Security".
  3. Scroll down and find "IP Verification".

  4. Tap on the toggle to turn on IP Verification.

How to Disable IP Verification

If your IP is dynamic, or for any reason, you'd rather not use this additional security feature, you can deactivate it; however, for security purposes, you will need to enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) for Sign-in first. How can I Activate 2FA?

With 2-Factor Authentication activated, you can then head back into your Security Settings and switch IP Verification off.
