There are multiple ways that USD can be deposited into your Coinmetro account.
Depositing USD via SWIFT
If you have a personal Coinmetro account, you can deposit USD using the SWIFT (international wire) method via our new banking partner Fiat Republic.

1. To get started, head over to your Coinmetro Dashboard and select the Add Cash option: 2. Select the USD SWIFT currency option from the dropdown menu: |

3. You'll now be asked to give your consent so that your Fiat Republic account can be created. You'll be asked to consent to us sharing your information with Fiat Republic, which will be your name, date of birth and the residential address registered to your Coinmetro account.
Simply click on 'Continue' to acknowledge that you're happy for us to do this. You might be asked to enter your residential address if you haven't already done so. This information is required in order for us to complete your payment.
Please note that in some cases, you may be asked to provide a proof of address document. Please don't hesitate to contact our customer support team if you have any questions.
4. Once we have the required address information, your Fiat Republic account will be created and will be processed. You'll see the following message while your account is in the opening process:
Please note that in some cases, it may take up to a few business days for the account to be opened. Once the account has been opened successfully, you'll receive an email from us informing you that the USD SWIFT deposit method is now available for your Coinmetro account.
5. Once your Fiat Republic account has been opened successfully, you can now use the USD SWIFT deposit option. Simply follow steps 1-2 (above) again and this will bring you to the USD SWIFT deposit screen.
6. Connect your bank by entering your banking information, then tap on 'Continue'.
7. You'll then see our USD SWIFT deposit details on the screen. Head over to your banking app and send the funds to the details shown, and tap on "I've sent my funds" once the payment has been initiated. Ensure that funds are sent to these details only as they are unique for each Coinmetro user.
That's it! Once the payment has been completed, the funds will arrive in your Coinmetro account within 3 business days (although in some cases it can take up to 5 business days for the funds to arrive with us.
Important to Know
Please note that some countries are not supported for USD SWIFT payments via Fiat Republic. If your country isn't supported, this means you'll need to deposit using another deposit method and you'll see the following message:
Depositing USD via Domestic Wire
USD Domestic Wire deposits are available for Coinmetro Business accounts only.

Unfortunately, USD bank transfers are currently unavailable for personal Coinmetro accounts.
If you have a personal account, please be assured that all other payment services are still available for you to use, including USD credit card deposits (for cards issued within the EEA only), and other fiat and crypto deposit methods. What other methods can I use to deposit?
In the meantime, until this matter is solved, please do not send any new USD deposits to our previously available USD banking details. If you have already sent funds to those details, please inform us immediately.
Depositing USD via Credit or Debit Card
You can deposit USD using the credit card method only if your card was issued in an EEA (European Economic Area) country.
Rest assured, if you have a credit or debit card that was issued in a European Economic Area (EEA) country, you can still deposit USD using the card method. Please do not use this method if your card was issued in a non-EEA country. How to deposit USD by credit or debit card

How long does it take?
USD SWIFT
It can take up to a maximum of 5 business days for your funds to reach us once they've been sent.
USD Domestic Wire (Business accounts only)
It can take up to a maximum of 3 business days for your funds to reach us once they've been sent.
USD Credit or Debit Card
Credit or Debit card deposits are usually instant.
Banking cut-off times, weekends, and holidays can affect how long it takes for funds to reach us from your bank. Once your deposit has arrived with us, you'll receive an email informing you of this. Should you still experience some issues after five business days have passed, please let us know and we will be more than happy to investigate this further for you.
Can I deposit from a third party?
No, we do not accept deposits from third parties. Any deposits made in a name other than your own will be returned and will incur a 20 EUR refund fee.
What are the fees?
USD SWIFT
There's no fee to deposit USD via the SWIFT method.
USD Domestic Wire (Business accounts only)
There's a $40 fixed fee for USD Domestic Wire deposits.
Credit or Debit Card
There's a 2.99% deposit fee for card deposits for Coinmetro users in Levels 0-2, or 1.99% for users in Levels 3-8.
