Firstly, you'll need to head over to your Coinmetro Dashboard. Then, click on either "Deposit" or "Add Cash" depending on which version of Coinmetro you are using:
On Desktop or Browser |
On the Mobile App |
Then, from the dropdown menu, search for USD. You will be presented with a few different options to deposit USD into your Coinmetro account:
-
USD - US Dollar (ACH)
-
USD - US Dollar (Domestic Wire)
-
USD - US Dollar (International Wire).
The first time that you go to deposit USD, you will need to carefully read and confirm that you have read, understand and agree to the Prime Trust Account Terms. It is important that you carefully read these before making your deposit.

Please note that the verification for your first USD deposit may take up to 5 working days to be approved due to additional checks from our US banking partner. You will receive an email once this has been completed. If you are a US resident, you will also need to enter your Social Security Number for Prime Trust verification purposes.
What if verification fails?
If verification fails, unfortunately, we are unable to manually verify your account and you would need to select another deposit option.
USD ACH Bank Transfer
If you are located in the United States, you can choose the USD ACH Bank Transfer option from the dropdown menu.

When choosing to pay by the ACH Bank Transfer method, you will need to create an account with Plaid so that funds can be authorized to be sent from your bank account.
USD Domestic Wire
You can also wire us your funds from your bank account. Select the USD - US Dollar Domestic Wire option from the dropdown menu.

On the USD Domestic Wire deposit form, you will see a Compulsory Reference in addition to Coinmetro's bank details.
You will need to then send us your funds from your bank account with your full name and ensure you include your compulsory reference entered in the reference/description field when making the transfer. It is compulsory to input your reference so that our banking partner and Finance team can assign the funds to your account without delays.
Ensure to use the bank details provided for Coinmetro as shown on the USD Domestic Wire deposit form, double-checking each time you send funds. We are adding new banking partners and details may change from time to time.
