1. To get started, head over to your Coinmetro Dashboard and select the "Add Cash" option:

2. Now, make sure that the "GBP" currency option has been selected.
3. Then, click on "Change", and then select "Bank Transfer".
4. Make sure your bank details have been linked to your Coinmetro account by selecting "Add new bank account". We need to link your details so that we can match incoming funds to your Coinmetro account without delays. Fiat deposits made to accounts where bank details have not been added may take longer to be assigned.
5. You will now be presented with Coinmetro's bank details. You now need to send your funds from your banking app or online banking account to these details. This information can be entered in seconds by clicking on the Copy symbol pictured below, and then by pasting the information into your banking app.
Once the payment has been sent, click on "I've Sent the Funds". The funds will arrive in your Coinmetro account within the timeframe specified on the deposit screen.
How long does it take?
GBP deposits are instant, although in some cases it can take up to 4 hours for the funds to reach us. Please keep in mind that banking cut-off times, weekends, and holidays can affect how long it takes for funds to reach us from your bank.
To ensure your GBP deposit arrives on time, please make sure that your sort code and account number have been linked to your Coinmetro account. This will allow our Finance team to assign your deposit to your account without delays. If you haven't already, please link your bank details now and then inform our Support team once done.
Can I deposit from a third party?
No, we do not accept deposits from third parties. Any deposits made in a name other than your own will be returned at your expense.
What are the fees?
Coinmetro charges a fee of £0 for UK Faster Payments deposits, however, we advise you to also confirm with your bank about any potential additional charges on their end.
What if my funds haven't arrived within the specified timeframe?
If your funds haven’t arrived after the given timeframe, please contact Support.
