If you have deposited GBP and this has not arrived or is pending in your Coinmetro account, it is important to ensure the following.

For All GBP Deposits

  • Ensure that all details were entered correctly on the deposit form and that the correct details were provided to your bank. If details were entered incorrectly, please contact Support

  • Please check your emails. As Coinmetro is a licensed and regulated exchange, sometimes our team will reach out for additional verification checks before we can process your deposit

  • Ensure the name on your Coinmetro account matches the name of your bank account. Deposits from third parties will be returned to you at your expense

  • Ensure you have sufficient funds available in your bank account. If you have insufficient funds, your deposit will have been rejected

  • Ensure that the transaction was successful with your bank. Your funds may not have arrived because your bank may have rejected the transaction without your knowledge

  • Ensure that your account is fully verified. You can check the status of your verification by clicking the button below.

For GBP Faster Payments

  • Please allow one full working day for the funds to be processed and arrive in your Coinmetro account. Banking cut-off times, weekends and holidays can affect how long it takes for funds to reach us from your bank. If your funds have not arrived after one full working day and you have ensured all of the below, please contact support.

  • Ensure that your Sort Code and Account Number have been added to the GBP Faster Payments deposit form. This will allow our finance team to assign your deposit without delays. If you forgot to add your bank details, please add this now and let our Support team know as soon as you have done so.

Not sure how to add your bank details?

    • the card is valid for e-commerce, cryptocurrency, or foreign transactions

    • the card is enrolled for 3D Secure transactions

    • you have sufficient funds and have not exceeded any limits

    • you have entered the correct 3D Secure password

    • you have entered the correct CVC code or expiry date

    • the card is not expired

    • the card is not a prepaid card

    • a repeated amount of small transactions have not been sent

    • the deposit amount is no more than 5,000 GBP.
