If you have deposited GBP and this has not arrived or is pending in your CoinMetro account, it is important to ensure the following:

  • Please allow one full working day for the funds to be processed and arrive in your CoinMetro account. Banking cut-off times, weekends and holidays can affect how long it takes for funds to reach us from your bank. If your funds have not arrived after one full working day and you have ensured all of the below, please contact customer support.

  • Please ensure that all details were entered correctly on the deposit form and that the correct details were provided to your bank. If details were entered incorrectly, please contact customer support.

  • Please check your emails - as CoinMetro is a secure and regulated exchange, sometimes our team will reach out for additional verification checks before we can process your deposit.

  • Please ensure the name on your CoinMetro account matches the name of your bank account. Deposits from third parties will be returned to you at your expense

  • For GBP Credit Card deposits - please ensure:

    • The cardholder's name matches the account name

    • The card is valid for e-commerce, cryptocurrency, or foreign transactions

    • The card is enrolled for 3D Secure transactions

    • You have sufficient funds and have not exceeded card limits

    • You have entered the correct 3D Secure password

    • Cardholders entered the wrong CVC code or expiry date

    • The card is not expired

    • It is not a prepaid card

    • A repeated amount of small transactions were not sent

    • The amount is no more than 5,000 GBP
