Withdraw euros via SEPA bank transfer or SWIFT transfer from your CoinMetro account in three easy steps.
First, ensure that you have completed your Profile Verification, and provided your residential address as it is required to withdraw fiat into your CoinMetro account. What do I need to know about verifying my profile?
Second, head over to your CoinMetro Dashboard, click Withdraw and choose either the EUR Euro (SEPA Bank Transfer) or EUR - Euro (SWIFT) option from the list. Provide your IBAN, BIC/SWIFT code, and how much you would like to withdraw.
Note: It's important to ensure you double-check that all information has been entered correctly. Once a transfer is sent, it is not possible to edit any information and transactions are not able to be reversed.
If you're sending to a new account, please make sure you have checked for a confirmation e-mail, subject line: Please Confirm Your New Withdrawal Destination. Kindly ensure you have confirmed AND followed the link through until you have logged into your account.
Third, check your bank account to make sure the funds have arrived.
Where can I send the funds?
Funds can only be sent to a bank account in your own name. SEPA (or the Single Euro Payments Area) allows for cross-border euro bank transfers within the countries listed here. Otherwise, the SWIFT option is available.
What are the fees?
CoinMetro charges a flat fee of 1 EUR for a SEPA withdrawal or 50 EUR for a SWIFT withdrawal. Please note we send SWIFT transfers with shared pricing and intermediary banks may charge fees along the way. We advise you to confirm with your bank about any charges on their end.
How long does it take?
SEPA transfers take one business day on average, sometimes two. SWIFT transfers typically arrive within 2-5 working days. Banking cut-off times, weekends, and holidays can affect how long it takes for funds to go from our banking partner to your bank.
If you're sending it to a new account, please make sure you have checked for a confirmation e-mail.
Make sure your account is enabled in the top right corner. As a regulated exchange sometimes we have to ask for additional information or review a transfer.
If your funds haven’t arrived within two working days of being completed for a SEPA withdrawal or five working days for a SWIFT withdrawal, please contact your bank to see if they are able to locate the funds. Likely they would ask you for the following details:
Your account details and account name;
The date of transfer, amount, and currency;
CoinMetro's bank details where funds were sent from.
Should they not be able to locate the funds, please let us know and our Finance team can investigate further.
