Deposit SEK via bank transfer into your CoinMetro account in three easy steps.
First, ensure that you have completed your Tier 2 Profile Verification, as it is required to deposit fiat into your CoinMetro account. (What do I need to know about verifying my profile?).
Second, head over to your CoinMetro Dashboard, click "Deposit" and choose SEK - SWIFT from the list to locate your individual reference.
Third, send us your funds from your bank account using the reference provided in your CoinMetro account. We need to have this reference in order to be able to match the funds to your account.
Ensure to use the bank details provided for CoinMetro as shown on the deposit screen of your account, double checking each time you send funds. We are adding new banking partners and details may change from time to time.
Where can I send funds from?
Funds can only come from a bank account in your own name. When choosing to send SEK, funds must be sent via the SWIFT international network.
How long does it take?
SEK SWIFT transfers take 2-5 business days on average. Banking cut-off times, weekends and holidays can affect how long it takes for funds to travel from your bank, through intermediary banks to reach us here at CoinMetro.
If your funds haven’t arrived after five working days, please let us know and provide us with a proof of payment document that shows the following details:
- Your sending account details and account name
- The date of transfer, amount and currency
- The bank details where funds were sent
This information will allow us to double check with our Finance team and banking partner. Proof of payment documents for SWIFT transfers are often called an MT103.
What are the fees?
CoinMetro charges a flat fee of 10 KR for a SEK deposit. However, when sending funds via the SWIFT international network, you will likely be charged fees by your banking provider and intermediary banks. Depending on how your bank sends the SWIFT transfer, those fees may be paid upfront or may be charged along the way by intermediary banks. We advise you to confirm with your bank about how they send funds and the applicable charges.
What can I trade?
Using the Buy/Sell feature on the Dashboard, you can buy any of our listed cryptocurrencies using SEK. We also have dedicated trading pairs on our Exchange platform: BTC/SEK and ETH/SEK.
