Deposit euros via bank transfer into your CoinMetro account in three easy steps.

First, ensure that you have completed your Profile Verification, as it is required to deposit fiat into your CoinMetro account. What do I need to know about verifying my profile?

Second, if you're sending funds from within the SEPA zone, head over to your CoinMetro Dashboard, click Deposit and choose EUR - Bank Transfer (SEPA) from the list and be sure to add your IBAN that you will be sending funds from. We need you to enter it so that we are able to link your funds to your CoinMetro account.

Once you've entered your IBAN, you will see CoinMetro's banking details. That's where you'll need to send funds to.

If you're located outside of the SEPA zone, you can still head over to your CoinMetro Dashboard, click Deposit but select the EUR - Euro (SWIFT) option. There you will not be asked to provide your IBAN, however, you will see a compulsory reference in addition to CoinMetro's bank details.

Third, send us your funds from your bank account with your full name or compulsory reference entered in the reference/description field when making the transfer.

Ensure to use the bank details provided for CoinMetro as shown on the deposit screen of your account, double-checking each time you send funds. We are adding new banking partners and details may change from time to time.

Where can I send funds from?

Funds can only come from a bank account in your own name, we're not yet able to accept funds from other persons or businesses to your CoinMetro account.

How long does it take?

If your bank supports instant SEPA transfers, we should receive your funds quite quick! Otherwise, SEPA transfers take one business day on average, sometimes two. For EUR SWIFT deposits, it may take 2-5 business days for us to receive your funds. Banking cut-off times, weekends and holidays can affect how long it takes for funds to reach us from your bank though.

If your funds haven’t arrived after above indicated working days, please let us know and provide us with a proof of payment document that shows the following details:

  • Your sending account details and account name;

  • The date of transfer, amount and currency;

  • The bank details where funds were sent.

If you have sent a SWIFT transfer, please ask your bank for the MT103 document.

This information will allow us to double-check with our Finance team and banking partner.

What are the fees?

CoinMetro charges a flat fee of 1 EUR for a SEPA and 5 EUR for a SWIFT deposit. We advise you to confirm with your bank about any charges on their end.
