For verification purposes the camera is a necessary part of the process;

This would only be needed for the record of the selfie. All other pictures and documents can be uploaded.

Depending on many variables like lighting, OS and the phone's features it may be the case that you will have an experience that is sub-optimal or not yet up to our standards, however we would encourage you, as thousands of others have had their account reviewed.

Here are some steps that may help you to complete the profile verification on your phone: 

  • Check your security settings, you may need to manually give the web browser permission to access the camera;
  • Use either Chrome Firefox or Safari browser;
  • Check that your device and browsers are up to date.

Once accessing the "get verified" page select the appropriate camera from the toggle menu (i.e. front facing vs. rear facing camera).

  • When you are on the Chrome browser, please click on the little lock icon on the top left (where the arrow points in the picture) and check if it says "Allow".  This needs to say allow for the camera to open. Please change it to allow in case it is not set to that.

Please let us know if these solutions work for you, and just as soon as you are able to upload your profile information, we will check your information to see if it's accurate to remove it off the queue. 

If not, we would advise, in case you are out of options, to perhaps borrow a friend's, family member's or rent an internet cafe's device, laptop/desktop or a friend or family member's mobile device/phone capable of the procedure.
